They make you pay $10/week for the most useless app on here. Save yourself they money and the excitement and just book with Airbnb.

The app won’t install to my phone :(

    By Clint Clardy
I don’t even know where to begin so I’m going to sum it up with this. The app wants to do a verification process using your cell number, email and that should be sufficient and is by every other app I have EVER sign up to use, but they want to force you to use one of your social media accounts as a THIRD point of verification. Thats the first issue which is completely intrusive and unnecessary based on 1000’s of other apps that don’t require this. Secondly, you get messages EVERY TIME Someone in the hose listing in your area that has absolutely nothing to do with yours and there’s no way to prevent the according to their customer service. Just a horrible app and horrible service
  • Don’t subscribe

The app itself isn’t bad, works pretty well. However there are a lot of fake profiles on here, more than likely made by the creater of the app. You can discover this by reading their descriptions. Consistently using the same words like impeccable, dominant. Words that aren’t used frequently are used on multiple profiles here. Additionally, A LOT of the profiles have the same exact ending to them, which is just not likely. This is clever, to get non subscribers to sign up to be able to communicate as your can’t see the messages unless you pay. Good idea, but a little scandalous.
  • Useless

I was not informed after spending hours on this site, that in order to read responses to my ad and messages I’d need to pay. It’d be fine if I knew right away while messaging people that I would need to pay to get a response. But no, I crafted countless messages to listings and was never told it was pointless to do so without paying. I’m aggravated. It’s very difficult for me to find a room. I don’t have time to waste sending out messages I can’t read the response to.
  • Bot-riddled and poorly thought out

    By Advantius
I was tricked into downloading this app by a bot. Who profits from that, I wonder? That’s one way to get the word out about your app, I suppose. I’ve deleted it, but I’m sure they’ll make a tidy amount from data mining my phone number, Instagram and Facebook. If you do bother actually trying to use the app, it’s weirdly a lot like Tinder, but for roommates - and you’ll frequently get 10-20 of the same two people in a row because they’re spamming listings. I want my 20 minutes back.
  • My babe

In the past, I used the app to find a place. The ability to search specific areas on a map is very helpful in NYC when you need to know distance from trains, parks, work, school, etc.!

The app is awesome! Clean and easy to use. A lot can be told about someone by their Facebook page, so it is such an perfect app for roomate finding
