  • Another app that pushes you to buy things

    By Char L.
I used to be a big fan but now I’m turned off. A place where I used to be able to go to put together outfits for alllll of my existing clothes now pushes suggested items to purchase in the daily outfit suggestion “closet”. I’m bummed because I liked using this to weed through my existing wardrobe and to help me NOT purchase more clothes
  • this is awesome, buuut

it’s a really lil but!! i’m obsessed and shared the app with all my family, friends and mom groups, but as it turns out it’s only available for ios. i know it takes a lot to develop an app on two different platforms, but here’s hoping you give it a whirl so everett can enjoy! Edit: still love, but upset about execution of the new “buy this” update. It’s impossible to ignore it as it’s the first thing you see when you open up the app. I’m using the app to get dressed today... i’m not going to run out for new (ugly) sneakers first. i can’t give feedback about the item to say whether it is or isnt my style, so i know tomorrow’s item will be just as off base. not my favorite new feature. think it could be really good, but should not be front and center and should be more intuitive. also, why can i only see fall winter shopping suggestions when it is now officially spring?
  • It could be so much better

    By CadetSuperstar
With the new update it gives really basic item suggestions for you to buy which is not necessary because the whole point of this app is to work with what you have. I liked it better when it would just suggest a type of item that would help and let you use your own imagination. Instead of this update why not give everyone what they want which is the ability to add accessories!!!!!! Besides this update the app crashes and I cannot even open it. I don’t understand the developers. You have all this free feedback of what we want and instead you give us something we never wanted asked for and most of us do not need. I have and would use Stylebook but the only reason I use this is because I like how it generates outfits for you based on weather. Just please developers give us what we are asking which is accessories. If I was a developer I would give my users what they want, especially since it seems so easy to implement and something expected from a fashion app.
  • Good but is crashing now

This app was very useful but now when i try to open it, instead it just crashes right away and i cant even use it.
  • Latest update very disappointing

I’ve been using Cladwell for about 6 months, and while there’s definitely some room for improvement (I’d love to be able to layer more items for example, and not be limited by what Cladwell seems to “think” can go over what), overall I was enjoying it. However, the latest update was a HUGE disappointment. The best thing about Cladwell has always been its focus on working with your own wardrobe, but now the first outfit it suggests every day contains a shopping link to an item it “picked for you.” First of all: I use this app to help me keep a lean closet with minimal shopping. Second of all: Every single suggested item so far has been comically similar to something already in my closet, so even if I were looking for shopping suggestions (which I’m not), these would be useless. This was a big step back, and honestly I may stop using this app unless they at least add in a way to turn this feature off.
  • Unusable. Crashed within the first half-hour.

    By bluetape027
After crashing about three times within the first 30 mintes of using the app, it doesn’t even respond anymore. I’d open the app, it would flash open to a frozen screenshot of the moment it crashed last time, then shut itself down again the next second. After trying to open this nonsense ten more times I just deleted the app.
  • Amazing

    By Lykceb
I absolutely love this app. One suggestion I wish they would add is being able to add multiple outfits a day. Like if I go to work then go out and wear two different outfits, I wish I could log both. Also can I turn off the shopping suggestions? Otherwise it's amazing!
  • History not working

    By Bigyellowbaby
I love this app because it helps make my styling effortless. But ever since the latest update, the History feature, one of the most important to me, has stopped working. Please fix this ASAP. It’s worth way more to me than seeing what fictional movie characters wearing :/
  • So far so good, but....

    By jennmaple
So far this app has been pretty great - I need to spend more time adding my items, but the assembled outfits have been pretty good every day. I especially love the capsule feature - just created one for vacation, helping me pack lighter 🤗 It is a little buggy and crashes quite often, not a huge deal. The worst thing for me is that you can’t seem to be able to turn off the “we picked this for you” suggestion - or at very least dismiss a specific suggestion? So it doesn’t keep showing up in outfits. So far have not seen a “picked for you” item that I would want or consider purchasing - maybe that’s why it’s not already in my closet 😂
  • Disappointed that the app is pushing shopping as a first outfit reco

    By gg8825
Don’t love the new feature of recommending new things to buy as the first outfit reco, rather than owned closet items. Feels like this new update is way off brand from what I thought to be Caldwell’s mindset of embracing what you own, capsule wardrobes, and mindful shopping. Guided shopping suggestions are great, but should be relocated to a spot in the app where the user can seek it out, rather than having it pushed on them.
