Take the awesome power of your Sony PlayStation 4 console, and give it the portability and convenience of the Nintendo Switch. Stream your PS4 games to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and play from anywhere. Never again will your gaming be interrupted when someone else needs to use the TV! R-Play features: • Play your PlayStation 4 games while away from home by streaming over the internet • Supports HD 720p video (1080p for PS4 Pro) at 60 frames per second for crisp, smooth gameplay • Control games with any MFi game controller, or the built in virtual on-screen controller • Highly tuned performance with extremely low lag • Multiple profile support so you can use any number of different PlayStation 4 consoles or PSN accounts • Customise the virtual on-screen controller to your liking • Quick and easy one-time setup, start playing within seconds Notes --- • Playing over the internet requires your home network to be set up correctly. In most cases R-Play does this for you automatically. Some users may need to perform this set up manually, according to the instructions found in the included help guide. • For the best streaming experience, your PS4 should be connected to your home network via LAN cable and your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch should be connected to a 5GHz WiFi network. • Your PS4 must be linked to a PSN account (however, R-Play does NOT require your PSN password). • If you need any assistance, our technical support team are on hand and are committed to quickly resolving any issues that you may encounter. • Don’t expect to use your PS4 Controller

    By D-Boy It
The on screen controls are VERY wonky, and there is no warning in the app-store that you cannot connect your controller to iOS, and that the process they list to use your PS4 Controller is arduous and doesn’t work. I spent 20 minutes trying to link a “secondary” account to the PS4 which the device would not allow. Save your money unless you just want to use this as a media player, as games are unplayable using the on screen controls.
  • R-play vS Ps4 remote play

    By Catblood
Two characteristics that make me choose using R-play over ps4 remote play: 1. R-play will work over cellular VS ps4 remote play you must use wifi . 2. With R-play you can customize controls VS ps4 remote play you cannot. R-play is great. 👍🏽

Hey, this is AMAZING, it’s like a ps4 on my phone! Anyway, is this like a one year subscription or something? I just want to know, since I don’t really like subscriptions.

Works great. Better than I imagined. I love this app
  • Well worth 12 bucks for older iPad

    By JC2019&
The new ps remote app does not work with older ipads! This is why I will never buy another apple product!!!!! This is your only option for remotely playing the PS4 on your iPad, and it works great. You definitely need an Ethernet connection your your PS4. Setting up remote play via my phone was a headache but definitely doable....you really need to setup a static IP address and then paste in the necessary ports from the help section of the appinto the port section of your router...This app makes your PS4 mobile!! I can play NHL 19 off my 4G hotspot!! Great app!!!

Instead of paying for this app you can download it for free from PlayStation.

  • Mac OS

    By Gladiatrix
It would be great that this app is for MAC OS as well. Better working than the original PSN app. Please consider to create app for the Mac OS. Sure to be downloaded from my side.
  • Better than a Vita

    By @bushysowavvey
No lie...I sold my Vita because I found more use in this app. There’s 2 keys though: 1. Learn how to open the ports on your router so you can internet play on your data anywhere in the world. Also have your PS4 connected via Ethernet. 2. Get a wireless Bluetooth controller or what I personally use, a GameVice controller. I wouldn’t seriously use this app without one, unless the game you’re playing is simple and doesn’t require advanced controls. Once you do these 2 things you’ll be able to pretty much use this anywhere for any game.
