I’ve used malwarebytes on my computers for several years. Using it on my iPhone is a blessing in disguise. Intuitive. One of the most reliable I’ve found. Updates are frequent for iOS systems. Compatible with newest releases of iOS. Not super expensive to break the bank
  • Yay! No More Malware From Google!

Goodbye Forever Google For Impersonating Anti-Malwarebytes!
  • Love the desktop app, dislike the phone app

I’ve been a Malwarebytes Premium subscriber for years, and when I saw there was an iOS app I wanted to try it out. I followed the in-app instructions to the letter, but saw no flagging of spam text messages, and none of my spam calls were flagged either. Requests for support were not helpful, and I canceled my subscription within the first 10 days. Again, I love the desktop apps, but the iOS app fell significantly short.

It does not block spam callers
  • Didn’t notice any difference.

Tried out the one-month trial and while it’s at least completely voiceover accessible for the blind, I don’t really know what the purpose of the app is. I continued to get spam calls and my Internet browsing was still the same. Nothing jumped out and said pay for me. Maybe in the future I’ll give it another try, but right now, I don’t really know what the benefit is. For the record, I have these guys installed on my three computers. So while I actually like their products, the iOS app at least, didn’t impress me.

  • Little Notice App is Working

Malwarebytes app appears to identify multiple known spammer phone numbers. That is off you change settings to notify you, not simply block the number. Text messages are a different matter. During pre-election period, I blocked about 30 text messages from all candidates. There was no indication from malwarebytes for any text so far. Protection updates are frequent, yet I receive no notice to update security. I’ve had to open app daily to find out if an update is available.
