Yesterday, exactly ten years have passed since the first iPhone was released. I propose to discuss the meaning and importance of the entire line for each of you, and I, in turn, will share my opinion.
In the morning I saw a tweet from Eldar Murtazin asking about the first one iPhone and decided that the answer to his question could well be formalized as a separate issue of gatherings.
Tell us what it is for you iPhone on his round date. And what do you choose in the end and why?

I got to know the company Apple quite late, at the time of iPhone 5 / 5s. Before that, I saw only an old iPod from a classmate at the institute and could not understand why it costs the same as my multifunctional laptop.
Personal acquaintance with iPhone 5s didn't go very well. The smartphone seemed small to me, various restrictions were annoying and the new one iOS required getting used to, but I didn't want to waste my time on it. As a result, after two weeks of use, I shared my impressions and sold the smartphone.
Moving from Android to iOS
The second attempt was six months later, then the system looked more familiar, like integration with OS X in the form of notes, iCloud, photos, etc. you get used to it very quickly. But two flaws iPhone of 5s still annoyed me a lot: it was about low runtime and a small screen. The first made me constantly carry an external battery with me, and the second made me make a lot of typos in messages.
When iPhone 6 came out, I realized that for me this is actually the perfect smartphone. Cool display, compact size, comfortable screen diagonal, good camera and normal battery life. You know, it is customary to say that after the death of Jobs Apple they noticeably lost ground, but for me it was iPhone 6 that was an indicator that the company was doing well. I have been sitting on the 'six' for two years and noticed an interesting thought behind me.
Even when I test flagships on Android, objectively outperforming iPhone 6 in almost all parameters, I still think in a few days about how nice it would be to return to iOS. I have been using this system for several years now and I know all its shortcomings and weaknesses. However, you still get used to it and the iPhone. And to the ideal work of automatic brightness, and to the fact that applications have a more or less standardized appearance, and the fact that the device is in the hand better than 99% Android – smartphones.
But when you try to clothe all these arguments in the text, the people do not understand, they see the price and characteristics, and then start comparing the numbers head-on. However, the overall impression of the system cannot be conveyed in dry numbers. You are either comfortable or not. It's convenient for me, and you? What does iPhone mean to you on this round date?
