There is such a company – OnePlus. Once they released the incredibly successful OnePlus One smartphone, and in the wake of this success they relaxed, so the next two devices: One Plus 2 and OnePlus X, were, shall we say, not very bright and memorable. By the time of the announcement of the OnePlus 3 smartphone, they had already forgotten about the company, and the first renders of the new product did not inspire optimism, the device seemed 'ugly' and controversial. Then OnePlus 3 came out, the first reviews began to appear, the first reviews from real users around the world and it all looked too positive and joyful, surprisingly. I have been using the device for about a week, my friends and acquaintances have used it, and they all agree on one thing – One Plus 3 is one of the best Chinese smartphones to date. Not only when comparing with Meizu or Xiaomi, for example, but also when comparing with grants such as Huawei and Lenovo. And I thought – what if this moment has finally come? The moment is when Chinese flagship smartphones are no longer inferior to flagships from the largest manufacturers – Samsung and Apple.

And now, of course, we are not talking about 'bare' parameters, according to which devices Apple, for example, have never been among the leaders. I'm talking specifically about the device as a whole, one in which everything is well thought out, from design and speed of work (no matter what kind of hardware is inside) and ending with the quality and speed of the camera. It is in real life, not on paper.
After all, so far most of our examples are reversed. Let's take Meizu Pro 6. Excellent design, body materials, very cool dimensions (the smartphone is not wide, compact, moderately thin), a good screen, a chic universal mechanical key with a touch layer and a fingerprint scanner. But the cameras in the device, frankly, are not a fountain. The performance is not bad, but on one condition – you do not plan to play on your smartphone. That is, compromises.
Another example is Xiaomi Mi 5. Excellent performance for a minimal price, as well as a cool display, good cameras, high speed. But the case loses its presentation in just a week – the cover of the frame is peeling off, scratched, the lid is loose. The stability of the shell MIUI raises questions and here everything, as they say, how lucky. It may work perfectly, or it may not. You can't guess. Compromises again. In this vein, I can list many devices, not forgetting about the excellent, but still not perfect and expensive Huawe P9 and so on.
And among all these cool, but to some extent compromise smartphones, OnePlus 3 stands out precisely for its versatility. Everything is good in this smartphone: calm design, good materials and workmanship, excellent display, excellent (almost at the level of SGS7 / SGS7 Edge) cameras, perhaps not with such fast focusing, good performance, and so on, and so on. And most importantly, the cost is adequate. So far, this is the only (in my opinion) example of a real flagship from a Chinese brand, without compromises, without simplifications. Yes, it is still inferior to top smartphones from Samsung and Apple, but this is literally one step back, nothing more. That is, I want to believe that in 2017 the competition between Chinese brands will intensify not only in the mid-range and budget segments, but also in the flagship category.
Which of the Chinese smartphones do you think is the most high-quality and uncompromising?
