The other day I finished testing the ZTE Axon Mini smartphone and noticed several unpleasant typos in the interface that annoyed me pretty much. To be honest, this is not the first time I have seen such translation problems and not only from ZTE, so I decided to discuss this shortcoming in a little more detail.

It is a big mystery to me why it is such a big problem for large companies to make a good and high-quality translation for their firmware? It doesn't take much time, we all know built-in applications Android or their counterparts from other manufacturers, of course this is not a five-minute affair, but you can definitely get it done in a couple of days. One or two more days would have to be spent testing a new translation, but in the end the whole process would take no more than a week. So why, why don't manufacturers do it?

Another common problem is the inability to squeeze a long name into the interface of a button. As a result, we get 'bes. int. ' and other 'joys'. And, of course, the most unpleasant thing is the untranslated parts from English. They are the ones that look the worst, especially when it comes to devices that are officially sold in Russia.
