FLUXO – smart lamp and the question of light

I use a Philips 'smart' lamp in the living room with a simple lamp, the idea was originally like this, firstly, to play with a new interesting toy, and secondly, literally change the mood on the fly, I want a romantic setting – you create it, you want coziness, you make it muted , soft light. As a result, the lamp always works in one mode, except that you show miracles to the guests, but well, you have played enough. Perhaps the same will happen with the FLUXO lamp. But at least for now, the idea looks promising.

The designers of the lamp are Lukas Pilat and Robert Kopka, unknown to me, unlike other similar devices, a special type of control using a smartphone is provided here – not a change in color, but a change in the direction where the light falls. In the video above, you can see this for yourself. The control takes place using a smartphone, if desired, you can change the color too. The scenarios for use are simple and straightforward, for example, you need to illuminate a picture on the wall in a special way, direct the light to the book that you are reading, the lamp can predict which lighting scenario you need at the moment. The accessory can create unique effects while watching TV, which is also important.

Overall, impressive, right? So far, this is only a concept on one of the sites where users sponsor the development – it seems to me that the developers will succeed.

And my question is simple, have you ever used smart lamps Philips or others? If yes, what are your impressions, what would you like to change or improve.

And of course, you can and should use smartphones based on Android to control such gadgets.
