I often write that I appreciate a free schedule because you have a great opportunity to sleep, work when it is convenient for you, and not waste time traveling to the office, if all the same actions can be perfectly done from home.
However, such a regime requires a certain discipline from a person. When there are no external constraints, you need to keep track of your daily routine and planning yourself. Earlier it seemed to me that you rested when you wake up with a good sleep and there is no sleepiness. But bad luck, sometimes I felt overwhelmed even after 12 hours of sleep.
At the same time, if you really slept for a long time and the body actually rested, then an hour and a half after a hot shower and breakfast, you will have enough strength for the whole day and sleepiness will not bother you. But these first minutes after waking up are always hard for me, regardless of how much I slept, three hours or thirteen.

But today I would like to talk about another way that supposedly helps to wake up easier. This, of course, is about all sorts of smart alarms available in pedometers and sleep trackers. Their job is to wake you up during the light sleep phase with a vibration on your wrist or a regular ring if you are using separate bedside trackers like Beddit.
So, personally, I, no matter how much I used this function, never once did it help me get up with less effort. I will say more, you wake up with her even more broken than usual. The only bonus was only a slight vibration, which brought me out of sleep a little softer than the usual alarm clock.
In addition, I, for example, are very annoyed when something is fixed on my wrist during sleep, because of this I wake up more often at night and, in principle, sleep worse.
Of course, sleep statistics is a very cool thing, especially when there is an opportunity to watch it in dynamics, for a month, for example. However, it is a smart alarm clock that does not help wake up, at least for me. How about you, dear readers?
