For a long time I wanted to share with you a couple of thoughts about the infinite comparison Android vs iOS.
You know, when you 'cook' in a certain party for a long time, you gradually pay attention to the moments that are important for her, and not for all people in principle. So, for example, the geek community can give you a hundred reasons right off the bat why Android is better iOS, and fans Apple will happily give you another hundred counterexamples. This skirmish, depending on the size of the site, can go on indefinitely, and although some of its participants sometimes behave aggressively, over time you realize that everyone who is arguing really likes the process itself. But let's digress from our awesome geeks and take a look at the world of casual users. What do most of them use? In my opinion, these are calls, instant messengers, social networks and a browser with mail.
In terms of calls, both systems have long been able to store data in the cloud, keep several items for one contact, and have a search by first or last name. Of course, there is a Smart Dial on Android, but for ordinary users, either a simple search or even scrolling through the list of contacts is enough. All popular instant messengers and social networks have their clients for both Android and iOS, while most of them are performed at an equally good level.
What does an ordinary user need from a browser? Open a page, read an article, laugh at the pictures, drive something into the search. Both Chrome and Safari are great for these simple tasks.
Of course, an experienced user of this or that OS will object to me that there are still millions of little things that I have not mentioned, and, of course, they will be right. Just think, will these little things be significant for your parents or girlfriend, far from IT-technologies?
