Gags or droplets?

For some reason, it is in the summer that I pay attention to what kind of headphones other people wear and always wonder if the 'droplet' format can be convenient for someone. In the text, I will share my thoughts on droplets and plugs and traditionally ask for your opinion on these types of headphones.

Gags or droplets?

I love music, but I am completely unpretentious to the quality of its sound, I can only be upset by a very cheap boozing sound when half of the chords are not heard. Otherwise, the sound quality of inexpensive headphones for 500-2000 rubles completely suits me. However, the form factor of the headphones plays an important role for me. I remember as a child the first time I tried the plugs after the traditional droplets and was surprised how big the difference is in noise isolation and reliability of their attachment in the ears. Since then, I have always used this type of headphone.

But on the subway, I regularly see people with earbuds. People sit in public transport, listen to music, and because of poor noise insulation, the whole salon listens to it along with them. In the subway, such headphones also 'yell' at the whole car. Also, in my experience, droplets regularly fall out of the ears, which also does not add points to them before the earplugs.

And yet, I see droplet users more often than plugs. There is, of course, a certain fault of smartphone manufacturers saving on headphones. Although lately, almost all major brands put plugs in the kit. The exception is Apple, but I know their EarPods have tons of fans. So, I would like to read in the comments your arguments in favor of droplets before plugs, why you use them, or why you do not use them. And of course, tell us what kind of headphones you use yourself. I am now wearing little old Huawei AM-180s, before that I used Monster DNA in-ear for three years, and even earlier I walked with the complete Galaxy S3 headset for a very long time, I really liked it.
