The battery life of the LG G4 on a single charge is not the worst, not least because Android is optimized to use less power and do more tasks. But this does not mean that it is harmful to want more. The display is what sucks the battery in the first place, and from experience, the factory default auto brightness settings (Settings – Display – Brightness – Auto Brightness) are somewhat redundant. Another malicious consumer of battery power is location-based and GPS-based services, since they often work even when you don't need them.
