Introduction

Hello everyone. Just yesterday I was preparing another New Year's collection of gadgets and one of them was a new Lenovo Yoga Book. I haven't tested this laptop yet, so I decided to watch the official video explaining its features. The two-minute video was very informative and interesting, so I decided to share the key features of the device myself.

Well, in the new year I will already take it for review. If you ask what the tablet on Windows does in our Android – blog, then the answer is simple – the blog topic has long outgrown only Android, we write about everything.

# 1. Dimensions and weight. Despite the fact that we have a full-fledged laptop on Windows, its thickness is only 9.6 mm and its weight is 690 grams. This is very good performance for a ten-inch device with a separate keyboard. Let me remind you that usually laptops in this segment weigh from one kilogram and more, except for especially cool models.

# 2. Halo Keyboard. Instead of a traditional keyboard, the bottom of the laptop was used as a drawing pad. And for those who still need regular typing, it can be transformed into a touch keyboard. The panel has vibration feedback to better simulate pressing physical keys, but we all know that touch buttons are unlikely to completely replace the sensations from physical ones.

No. 3. Pen Button and Notes. Perhaps the main wow feature of the device. We put the Yoga Book in the open book mode, put a notebook on the right half and start writing with the built-in stylus pen. The tablet and OneNote app digitize your note in real time and transfer it to your computer. It looked very impressive in the official video.

No. 4. Transformer: It's clear that this is a common advantage for the entire Yoga line, but it is in the Yoga Book that the tablet mode can be used fully, due to the fact that there is no physical keyboard on the bottom. Small size and weight also allow you to 'forget' that we are facing a laptop.

Conclusion

Other characteristics include FHD resolution, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, an Atom x5 chipset Intel and up to 13 hours of battery life. I looked at the cost: large chains ask 45,000 rubles for the Yoga Book. On the one hand, this is much higher than a typical netbook for a student, and on the other hand, we have a more 'adult' model with a normal display, excellent dimensions, light weight and many unique features.

By the way, here's a question for you, dear readers. What characteristics do you want to see in a laptop for 45 thousand rubles? What is important to you and what fades into the background?
