Keyboard for Android (good)

I have a favorite Swiftkey keyboard, everything seems to be good in it: it works quickly, and there are a lot of themes (skins), and there are a variety of settings, such that you can customize literally every moment, and the dictionary remembers frequently used ones well me words, besides offering them in the right places. But still something is missing.

First, there is a slider-like language switcher: keep your finger on the space bar and slide it left or right. Someone is comfortable, someone is uncomfortable, but this moment makes me very sad. Why can't they (the Swiftkey developers) add a simple toggle button for years? Why is this slider needed? Okay, you like the slider, but give your users a choice of slider or button. What is difficult? Your settings window consists of hundreds of items, is it really impossible to add another one – with a variant of the language switch button?

Secondly, the themes. There are already a hundred of them for Swiftkey, if not more, but almost all of them are exactly the same. The differences come down to colors and a slight difference in the shape of the keys. At the same time, there are “skins” for the keyboard of quite tangible money, 40-45 rubles for one “skin” or 100, 200, 700 rubles for a set of ten to fifteen pieces, for example.

Thirdly, the speed of work, as I now understand, could be better. Even Samsung's stock keyboard, who would have thought, is touch sensitive and faster than Swiftkey for extended typing. I'm not even talking about the Google keyboard, it is noticeably faster.

These are the thoughts that come to me about once every six months, I go to Google Play and to different sites to read another collection of articles about the best keyboards for Android, then I put a couple of pieces, try each of them for several days and come back again eat your own cactus called 'Swiftkey keyboard'. Why it happens?

In fact, this is not a rhetorical question, but a question for you, dear readers. Which keyboard should a lost traveler choose among dozens of the same type and, as it seems at first glance, identical keyboards?

For happiness you need very little, I will list the points:

  1. The normal button for switching the language – pressed, and the language switched, without any menu calls, swipes, key holdings and other perversions.
  2. The presence of a markup of additional characters on the keyboard, so that by holding it you can enter a 'dog', a hash, a dash, a ruble sign and other things without going into the character input mode.
  3. Simple keyboard layout, no space innovations in design, know-how in the form of a solid wall with letters and other similar pieces, so that everything is 'in the classics', as in the good old Windows Mobile – times.
  4. The ability to choose a theme, at least from dark and light, and then as luck would have it (with the rest of the points).
  5. A dictionary that is synchronized with the 'cloud' so that you don't have to take a file every time and throw it or save it somewhere.
  6. Normal typing speed when typing small short texts (such as SMS or Telegram correspondence) and at the same time sufficient speed when typing large texts (this is what the Swiftkey keyboard lacks, among other things).
  7. Normal word replacement system and word replacement sentences.

What are your options?
