Square Off: Smart Chess
Chess is one of the most famous games that people have been playing for over one and a half thousand years. It is not surprising that there are many digital versions of chess for both computers and mobile devices, where you can play both against artificial intelligence and against other people.
Poking your finger on the screen or clicking on the drawn icons with the mouse is not at all the same as playing on a real board with figures carved from wood. But when your opponent is on the other side of the world, or if you have to play against the computer, you have no choice.
Or rather, it never happened before. But now Square off has appeared in the world – a device that is a hybrid of a chess set and a computer game. This chess can be synchronized with a mobile application, after which the magnetic manipulator hidden in the board will move your opponent's pieces by itself, clearly demonstrating all his moves. In the same way, you can view the records of chess tournaments or hone your playing skills against the computer.

Freedrum: invisible drums
With a drum kit, the situation is exactly the opposite. Not everyone who wants to learn how to play drums can afford to put them at home. And you need a lot of space, and the neighbors may not appreciate the new hobby. Yes, and you can't really drag drums with you, there can be no question of taking a drum kit on vacation or during a visit.
This is where Freedrum comes in, the 'smart' drumsticks that let you drum literally through the air. Sensors determine the position of the stick in space, and the speakers reproduce the sound of the impact, taking into account the width of the swing, the speed of movement, the force of the impact and other parameters.

SPUD: 24 '' pocket display
Mobile devices have long and firmly entered our lives. Even the simplest smartphone is enough to work with mail and documents, take and process photos, watch movies, search for the necessary information on the Internet and do a bunch of other things. One problem is that doing everything on a tiny screen is not at all as convenient as on a large monitor. Especially when it comes to work, not fun.
Is the 24-inch monitor a mobile solution or a handheld device? You can, if we are talking about SPUD. This display opens up like an umbrella and takes up almost no space when folded.
True, its resolution is small – a compact projector produces a picture of 1280 × 720. But with the battery life everything is in order, from one charge SPUD will work for 6 hours.
