Most Popular YouTube Videos in 2016

Like many other major online resources, YouTube has been summing up the past 12 months for several years, naming the most popular videos of the outgoing year. I suggest you familiarize yourself with the five most popular (of course, on a global scale) videos.

#one. Adele at Carpool Karaoke

In the first place is one of the episodes of the very popular in the West TV show Carpool Karaoke (you may know it from the September presentation Apple, to which Tim Cook arrived with the host James Corden). So far, the episode of Carpool Karaoke, featuring the British singer, has received over 141 million views.

# 2. Pen-Pineapple – Apple – Pen

The second place went to the viral video Pen-Pineapple – Apple – Pen ('Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen'). The formula for success is simple: a random set of words + a simple melody + eccentric body movements = 102 million views.

# 3. 'What's inside the tail of a rattlesnake?'

Probably, each of us in childhood wanted to know the contents of everything that only came to hand. These are the questions that are dealt with on the English-language YouTube show 'What's Inside?'. The Rattlesnake Tail issue won the YouTube Bronze for 2016 and boasts 61 million views to date.

#4. Nike Football Ads

It is not uncommon for sports brands to exhibit marketing wonders. So this time – Nike has released a commercial (in fact, a short short film), which starred such famous football players as Cristiano Ronaldo, Anthony Martial and Harry Kane. The company's creative work has been appreciated by 58 million people, making Nike's creation the 4th most popular video content on YouTube over the past 365 days.

#5. America's Got Talant and Grace Vanderwall

Closes our TOP release of America's Got Talant entertainment TV show. This year AGT celebrates ten years since its first broadcast, and the winner of the 11th season was the young schoolgirl Grace Vanderwall, who impressed the jury with her masterful ukulele playing.
