The subjunctive mood is a number of special forms of the verbal mood of most Indo-European languages, expressing a possible, conjectural, desirable or described action through a subjective attitude.

HTC
Rumors about the smartphone HTC Bolt have been actively circulating on the network for the last couple of months. The expectations of the fans were very high, because the name of the new item hinted at excellent technical characteristics and record speed. Just in case, let me remind you that Usain Bolt, after whom the smartphone was named, is an 11-time world champion in sprinting and is considered the fastest man on earth (he has 8 world records).
Alas, hopes were not destined to come true. The novelty received only 3 GB of RAM and is based on the 'old man' Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, which at the end of 2016 can hardly be called a top platform. Yes, and this processor is remembered not so much by the number of virtual “parrots” as by its sad tendency to overheat.
Another reason for disappointment is the expected rejection of the 3.5 mm audio jack. Unfortunately, here the rumors turned out to be true. True, the kit comes with headphones HTC BoomSound Adaptive Audi o Hi-Res with a USB Type-C connector, about which many big words have been said.
Time will tell whether the company should have imitated Apple, in my opinion, HTC one should not forget that much of what Jupiter is allowed is not allowed for a simple bull. Yes, and the company has already tried to supply smartphones complete with expensive headphones, and this did not lead to anything good. After all, there are no miracles in the world, and the 'free' headphones were necessarily reflected in the cost of a smartphone.
On the positive side, it is worth noting the protection according to the IP57 standard, which is quite unexpected for a device with an all-metal body.
The full list of smartphone specifications is as follows:

At the moment, the novelty is sold only in the United States from the operator Sprint, but, according to rumors, its international version under the code name HTC 10 Evo may be presented later. The question is when and at what price. I'm afraid that HTC will once again step on the old rake and HTC 10 Evo will repeat the fate of HTC Butterfly. It was a bright and interesting 'Japanese' smartphone, but it only reached world markets six months later, and even after the New Year holidays. Against the background of the announcements of CES and MWC, its characteristics did not look at all great, and the price bites a lot.

Many connoisseurs of the brand (myself included) very much hoped that the partnership with Google would be an impetus for further development for HTC. In the same way that they were collaborating on the very first Nexus. In reality, everything turned out differently, instead of the Nexus smartphone, the Google Pixel was presented, where the name HTC does not appear at all. If in HTC they planned to enter the same river twice, they got a little lost on the way. The Taiwanese company was also an OEM manufacturer, but this happened long before its heyday.
By the way, the company Huawei, which Google initially offered to release the Pixel, refused to work on such conditions. Her plans to further conquer the US market and the role of a faceless and unknown contractor Google were not combined with them. HTC, it seems, there was simply nowhere to go.

Google was in no hurry to put the interests of partners above its own before, HTC at one time it also got a lot from it (we are talking, first of all, about the general borrowing of ideas from HTC Sense). Now, when Android has long and firmly stood on its feet, there is no sense at all for the search giant to be almond-shaped. HTC for him is, first of all, a possible candidate for the role of his own mobile unit, which definitely should not have either its own logo or its own opinion.
Moto
But it is possible that this is not the worst case yet. In life Motorola everything happened exactly the opposite – the brand still has some value for those around it, but no one needs a unique style, promising developments and many years of experience. While the puppeteer in the face Lenovo is still pulling the strings, the body of the once great company shows signs of life. But the puppeteer is about to get bored of this performance, and soon the Moto logo can begin to be molded on all smartphones indiscriminately.
Apart from the very fact of working Lenovo on their own smartphones for the Moto line, nothing is known about them yet. On the other hand, a device lit up on the network, which with a fair stretch can still be considered a creation Motorola. Perhaps we are talking about her new flagship – Moto X (2017).
From the information available so far, only two photos published by the resource TechDroider. Judging by them, the main body of the case will be made of metal, which will be placed in a plastic 'tray' framing it around the edges.

I cannot say that the photographs make any disgusting impression. At least not after Moto Z. But looking at the latest devices under the Moto brand, you sometimes wonder what they would be like, would you design them the same Motorola?
Devices that weren't there
Questions from the series 'what would happen if? ..' do not always belong to the category of rhetorical. Sometimes it is possible to get a very specific answer to them, albeit several years later.
Over the past week, two videos on the never-released mobile devices have appeared on the Internet at once. The first of them concerns the smartwatch Nokia Moonraker, which should have been released back in 2014.
But maybe the fact that they never came out is for the best. Both the capabilities and the design of the watch are more than standard, they have no advantages over numerous competitors. As far as this can be judged by one single video.
The second video concerns the commercial version of the Project Ara smartphone. Which was curtailed when before the expected arrival of the smartphone on sale (albeit in a limited edition and in one single market) there was already quite a bit. Perhaps the company decided that the further game is simply not worth the candle – there are plenty of modular devices this year, and so it was enough for the search giant to try to compete with LG or Lenovo. Due to heightened competition, the already symbolic sales risked being completely nonexistent, and there was no point in wasting time and effort on further research in this area.
Against the background of this prototype, even the Moto Z looks like a style icon. Simply because there is simply no hint of style in Google's creation. On the one hand, this was quite expected, because the first prototypes were exactly that. On the other hand, there was still hope that the commercial version of Project Ara would look at least a little different.
Although the video may be a banal fake or another early prototype.
Finally – a few photos of the same model from the Phandroid resource.
