Introduction
At the end of March, the company Huawei introduced the world to the P30 series smartphones and two new versions of smart watches Huawei Watch GT: Active Edition and Elegant Edition. In less than six months, according to the manufacturer, more than 1 million devices were sold, and the Watch GT became the best-selling smartwatch Huawei.
The Active Edition has a 46mm dial, just like the previous models in the series. The Huawei Watch GT Elegant Edition devices feature a new 42mm design with a ceramic bezel.
The new Watch GT Active Edition and Elegant Edition models feature a new 'Triathlon' mode. It supports three types of activities: open water swimming, cycling and outdoor jogging. The smartwatch records all activities during a triathlon, including changing sports.
Today we will talk about the Elegant Edition, which cost 13,000 rubles.
Appearance
In short, the new watch in the Elegant version has become really cute and is more suitable for girls, in my subjective opinion. The main difference from previous generations of watches Huawei and Honor is the use of the original ceramic bezel. The dial of the white watch was diamond cut to create 48 facets (yes, I counted), which are then carefully polished. When the angle of incidence of light changes, the spectrum of color shades of the bezel also changes: from light violet to dark violet. Unfortunately, to achieve this effect, you need to find a specific angle of incidence of the light.
The fluoroelastomer straps for the Watch GT Elegant are available in black and white. Keep in mind that the supplied strap is rather short, for example, I fixed it on the wrist almost at the last divisions.
On the side, in the usual place, there are two mechanical buttons: menu and 'activity'.
The display of the smart device Watch GT has become noticeably smaller compared to the 46 mm dial – 1.2 inches. The screen matrix is made using technology AMOLED, the resolution is 390×390 pixels, which is about 460 pixels per inch. The display is touch-sensitive, the sensitivity is high. There is no problem with that.

Working hours
I have been using the previous generation of smartwatches for a long time and I can say that the Elegant version works two times less. That is, it turns out about a week when using the heart rate monitor and disconnecting from the smartphone at night. In general, the Watch GT lasts longer than its smarter cousins, but less than the typical fitness band.
Various functions
You get absolutely all notifications that can be on a smartphone. If this is a popular application like Twitter or Instagram, then you see a large program icon, and below the text. The font is perceived as normal, in contrast to its visual design in Honor Watch. The firmware is most likely to blame.

Impressions
Since the new Huawei Elegant Edition is almost the same as the Huawei Watch GT and Honor Watch, the impression is exactly the same as the previous generation: a quality item with an excellent set of fitness functions, including a detailed heart rate graph.
As a cute accessory to control your activities, the device is quite suitable. But if you need a smart device to work with notifications, then “fix your eyes” in the direction of the Samsung Watch Active – no less elegant watches for men and women.
