Want to quickly and easily create a beautiful theme for your smartphone? It couldn't be easier. With theme editor HTC Sense you can customize absolutely everything, from backgrounds and sounds to fonts and icons …
In recent versions HTC Sense, a lot of attention has been paid to themes. In smartphones HTC, a theme is not just a collection of pictures, but something much more. It literally affects everything: icon set, fonts, sounds, widget style, dialer and app screen design, on-screen key style, color scheme, and much more.
Update Android for example HTC One M8
Of course, no one forces the user to delve into all these subtleties, because the theme store has hundreds of ready-made design options. It is enough just to find the one that you like and in just a couple of clicks download and install it on your smartphone. And only then, if you want to tweak something, change a specific element of the theme manually.
If the ready-made options for some reason do not suit you, you can create the theme of your dreams yourself. And then also publish it in the theme store, allowing other users to download it. But on the smartphone itself, for my taste, it is not very convenient to do this. But a web editor that can be opened in a browser directly from a computer is a completely different matter.
The theme editor has three modes. The easiest mode is the first, it is suitable for those who want to quickly create a beautiful design theme without delving into all the details and subtleties.
The process of creating a theme is very simple and you won't be able to get lost in it if you want to. All you need to do is follow the instructions on the screen, one step at a time. You can evaluate the progress by looking at the image of the smartphone on the right side of the screen, from which it is immediately clear what the theme is at the moment.
The first step is to select a basic wallpaper and specify a theme category. Then you can add wallpapers for lock screen, apps screen, dialer and SMS.
The next step is to choose a basic color scheme. To make it easier for the user, the editor automatically analyzes the selected background image and offers several suitable options to choose from.
Then they offer to choose the style of icons, sounds, set of fonts.
By clicking on the 'Preview' button, you can evaluate how harmoniously all the screens and design elements look and, if necessary, correct what stands out from the general style.
For those for whom the capabilities of the standard editor are not enough, there is a special professional mode. Or rather, even two at once – for creating standard themes and for creating free themes. You can read about what a free theme is in the article at the link below.
HTC Sense Home. Free theme!
The first thing that catches your eye when creating a standard theme is the ability to choose the type of wallpaper. There are three options to choose from: a single wallpaper, multiple backgrounds for different screens, and a separate wallpaper for day and night.
And in general, there are much more opportunities for fine-tuning here than in the standard editor. For example, you can upload your own icons for certain applications, change the appearance of the system weather widget, select the design of the block of on-screen keys, and so on.
The free theme editor looks similar, but after choosing the background images, you will need to add at least five stickers to the theme – interactive objects that replace program icons. The size and location of the stickers can be freely changed.
Outcome
Overall, the theme editor left a very pleasant impression. Creation of a beautiful and quite professional theme, the design takes a couple of minutes and does not present any difficulties. The only limits here are your own imagination and sense of taste.
