Hello! Over the past five years, I have tested many smartphones and I can safely say that automatic brightness works mediocre on most of them, so I always turn it off immediately and adjust this value manually. I decided to ask how well this parameter works for you, dear readers, and share your thoughts.
For all the time of testing, what I like most is how auto brightness works on iPhones. Honestly, I don't know how Apple does it, but in 95% of cases the software correctly sets the brightness value, and when you adjust it yourself, it remembers your actions.
Samsung comes in second, mainly because you can adjust the brightness up and down five notches, which makes it perform better than iPhones.
And on all other devices, as a rule, the brightness values are greatly underestimated, as a result you have to manually raise them. After the fifth or tenth time, you just turn it off. But maybe I'm wrong, and besides Apple and Samsung, are there other companies that have this feature well? What do you say, dear readers? Share your impressions of auto brightness in the comments.
