What I dislike about the official Twitter client

Hello everyone, today we will discuss the shortcomings of the official Twitter application over competitors in the form of third-party applications.

About once every couple of months, I have arguments with my subscribers about which Twitter client to use. I myself settled on Robird Reborn for Android and Tweetbot for iOS. Several times I tried to move to the official Twitter client, but each time I had to go back to the good old third-party applications. And that's why.

Reason # 1. Lack of previews for Instagram and video hosting. The fashion to repost your photos from IG to Twitter has gone a long time ago, and I'm already used to viewing these pictures as ordinary images in the feed. Tapnul, looked, went to read on. But the official app doesn't do that! You have to open a browser view.

Reason # 2. Section 'While you were away'. Twitter regularly offers a selection from your feed and puts it at the top of the list, which can be very annoying at times.

Reason number 3. Display dialogs. For some reason, the official client combines messages into a chain in the main feed, while doing it from the bottom up, so it's impossible to read all this.

Reason number 4. Advertising. I’m not against monetization, but it’s too often that advertising, sometimes stupid recommendations, or something else appears in the official client.

Reason number 5. Section 'notifications'. I'm used to having a separate tab for viewing replies from subscribers, but now a bunch of other unnecessary information appears in this feed. Sure, it's sometimes helpful to look at how many people have liked or retweeted you, but for the most part I don't need that information.

I am endlessly saddened that the Twitter team cannot make a good, convenient and functional application, while they are apparently not embarrassed by the number of third-party clients, although I lie, of course, it confuses, but does not motivate, because they simply limit the number of users to other programs, instead of to improve the official client.

What kind of Twitter client do you use? If the official, then are you satisfied?
