Wiivv Wearables – smartphone, insoles and 3D

An ambitious Silicon Valley project led by Ben Wynne and Shamil Hargovan, both involved in Hewlett Packard's 3D printing technology. As you know, there is nothing more individual than human feet and every time you have to walk a lot in uncomfortable shoes, you think about it. Rather, you don't think, but dream about the moment when the new shoes will themselves understand the shape of the leg, foot and adapt to your characteristics. There are no such shoes yet, but Wiivv Wearables wants to make insoles that correspond to the new century. And for this you need a smartphone.

Apparently, the process will look like this, you shoot your foot with a smartphone camera, send it to Wiivv Wearables. Maybe there will be a special application. Along the way, on the official website, you can choose the color of the insoles, the material and even indicate who they belong to. They say that special materials will be used, preventing the life of harmful bacteria, protecting shoes from odor. In general, miracles. And most importantly, these insoles will be made using a 3D printer.

While the company has not yet started working, they offer to subscribe to the newsletter, join Twitter and talk about how wonderful everything will be. We'll see.
