Xiaomi Mi Wi-Fi: Ten facts about the device

In times of crisis, such products are especially popular, although I don't remember anything like this Xiaomi in modern history. Things with a good design, attractive price, with a beautiful history, just look at the official photos. Everything is similar to Apple, but at the same time not quite similar. People love Xiaomi, know this brand, are interested in such things – so why not write about a new router? Moreover, if it is somehow intended for devices with Android? And, therefore, here are ten facts about Xiaomi Mi Wi-Fi.

1

1. Minimalistic appearance, black and white color. It couldn't be easier. Moreover, the device looks great both assembled and disassembled.

2. It's not just a router, it's also a network drive. Two versions are presented, with memory 1 and 6 TB

3. The router supports 115 Mbps baud rate

4. On the back of the USB, four LAN ports are sufficient for home use.

5. Broadcom 4709C processor, 512 MB of RAM – apparently, the router has no problems with the operating speed

6. Among the accessories there is Mi Wi-Fi Amplifier, this is a signal amplifier that connects to a USB port – by the way, it's time to buy yourself an extension cable with USB. Increasingly, such things are becoming necessary in the household.

7. The content on the router can be viewed from anywhere in the world, there is support for Android and iOS. The main thing is not to turn it off when traveling.

8. Wi-Fi specifications are: Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz

9. It is interesting that the router can be used to back up photos and support for cameras of some manufacturers is declared – it would be interesting to see how this works.

10. The router costs $ 112 / $ 484 depending on the memory. It would be logical to show a model without memory at all, so it would be even more popular – after all, surely not everyone needs terabytes of space to store files.

I think the $ 114 price tag for the 1TB version is pretty interesting. What do you think?
