Your last three smartphones

In this article, I decided to remember and talk about my last three smartphones, which I have been using for a very long time. And in the comments, I traditionally ask you to do the same?

Your last three smartphones

Introduction

When you work as a browser, your main device is almost always a test device. Today you are walking with Huawei nova, yesterday you carried Asus ZenFone 3 with you, and tomorrow you will be holding Moto Z Play in your hands. From the point of view of new impressions, this is very cool, but there is very little time left for 'your' device. And, nevertheless, it is, plus let's not forget that on trips I always take the main device, even if I have something on the test, because it is very unpleasant to be left without communication in an unfamiliar country. My smartphones will not have the latest new products, so do not count on mentioning new flagships in advance. Well, I'll start from the end.

Apple iPhone 6

Yes, yes, I have not sealed myself. My current main device is exactly the sixth iPhone, I have been going with it for over two years. Initially, it was taken to test new applications in the App Store, but I liked the model and I began to use it as the main one. After iPhone 5s I was very pleased with the large diagonal of the screen, a pleasant to the touch (albeit very slippery!) Case, a more comfortable built-in keyboard. At that time, the iPhone worked very quickly and for a relatively long time, again against the background of 5s. But over time, glitches and slowdowns began to appear, and in comparison with Android – the six was discharged very quickly by smartphones. Why am I not switching to the seventh iPhone? It certainly works faster and a little longer, and I like the new fingerprint scanner better, but I have not yet had the need to change my six. Although the older it gets, the more it loses in terms of speed and operating time even Android – to smartphones of the middle segment.

LG Nexus 5

In general, before iPhone 6, I used 5s for six months, but decided not to talk about this experience, since I didn't really like that little smartphone. It's a different matter from the gift of the Nexus 5, and even in red! A smart device, it looked amazing in red, worked quickly and had the latest version Android on board. It was after using the Nexus 5 that I decided for myself that if we were to take Android – smartphones, then definitely from Google. Of the shortcomings, only poor network reception upset me, where other devices were already catching LTE, the Nexus 5 either had no signal, or had a weak 3G.

Meizu MX2 / MX3

I have a lot of fond memories of Meizu. For example, the MX2 presentation in Beijing was the first press tour to which I was invited, I was still very worried that I did not go to the Chinese Wall, because I might not see China anymore (since then I have been in Beijing three more times). But let's not get distracted. I passed C Meizu MX2 for almost a year and it was the smartest smartphone for that time. Firstly, it had one of the best displays on the market: HD resolution, Sharp matrix, excellent oleophobic coating and no air gap. The picture from the screen seemed to float out at you. Secondly, the device was very compact, and the trend for large smartphones had already begun. Third, it worked amazingly fast. In general, Flyme, like MIUI, worked great back in the days of Android 2.3. Fourth, there was a cool sensory light ring. Then they abandoned it, but the element definitely deserved attention. A year later, I switched to the large Meizu MX3 and everything said above, except for the size, was true for him too. I remember I was glad that all my calls and sms were transferred to the new device, thanks to the Flyme account. Both devices had two drawbacks. They worked for a very short time and the back cover was insanely tight. I got used to it, but I know that other users had a lot of problems with it.

Conclusion

Well, I will briefly list the previous models that I constantly used before Meizu MX2:

  1. Samsung Galaxy S3
  2. Samsung Galaxy Nexus
  3. Samsung Galaxy Note (just a divine device for its time!)
  4. Samsung Galaxy S2
  5. HTC Desire S
  6. HTC Desire HD – my first Android – smartphone, did I reread Artem Lutfullin's review ten times before buying?
