Search giant Google said that less than two years have passed since the global debut of the Google Assistant, noting that nearly half of Assistant's tasks are done using voice and touchscreen simultaneously. And so, the developers have presented a new version of the Google Assistant with an updated design.
The new design of the Assistant, according to the company, is suitable both for those who prefer voice control and for those who find it more convenient to perceive information in text form. By asking the digital assistant for something, the user will quickly receive an answer in a convenient format, and will also be able to manipulate images, 'sliders' and buttons.
In the updated interface, the following innovations can be noted:
- Larger and brighter visuals.
- New buttons and 'sliders' to control smart devices.
- The ability to quickly edit text messages thanks to touch controls.
- The ability to quickly and conveniently get information about upcoming tasks for the day (for users Android): to do this, you need to launch the Assistant, swipe up the screen, and see your schedule and other important information depending on the time of day and your recent requests to the Assistant.
