Google announced that smartwatches that run on its Android Wear platform will now work with smartphones iPhone – iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, or 6 Plus running on iOS 8.2 and older.
In order for the Android Wear watch to start working with products from Apple, it is enough to pair these devices and then receive the following information on the wrist:
Essential information at a glance: Get information about phone calls, messages and notifications from apps by touching the watch display or turning your wrist with the watch
Track your fitness metrics: Set your fitness goals and receive daily and weekly reports of your progress – the watch automatically tracks the walking, running and even heart rate of its users
Save time with smart prompts: provide the right information on time when you need it at the moment – when a business meeting ends, traffic congestion and flight information. In addition, the user can get answers to queries after the voice command 'Ok Google', for example, about the weather and to-do list
As Google promises, all future Android Wear watches (currently with iOS only work LG Watch Urbane) will support iOS. including new items from Huawei (pictured), Asus and Motorola.
