The French company ARCHOS, as part of the upcoming IFA 2016 exhibition, presented its new smartphone ARCHOS 55 Diamond Selfie, which will go on sale in September this year and featuring an elegant design, a 5.5-inch frameless Full HD screen, 8 Selfie MP camera with backlight function, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
In addition, the presented novelty is equipped with a 16 MP main camera with autofocus and backlight, as well as support for specialized Qualcomm technologies to improve the quality of images:
- ChromaFlash: The camera takes two pictures – with and without flash. Then the images are combined – the brightness is taken from the first image, and the exact color reproduction is taken from the second, and the image is high-quality and balanced.
- OptiZoom: The camera lens locks onto the subject and continues to track its position even in motion, automatically zooming in if necessary to keep the picture as clear as possible.
- UbiFocus: When the camera's autofocus is off, five shots are taken with focus on different objects. Then all the images are combined into one, and the user can choose which part of it to focus the image – in the foreground, in the background, or keep the whole photo in focus.
The ARCHOS 55 Diamond Selfie will cost 18,290 rubles, and its Lite version with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory will be available from October this year at a reduced price of 15,990 rubles.
