ASUS has announced the launch of an operating system update for its ZenFone 2 Laser smartphone to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which users should receive within a week.

The company warns users that its update with the number 13.10.6.16_M3.6.44 will slightly reduce the amount of internal memory, and therefore ZenFone 2 Laser owners should make sure that there is enough free memory for the internal storage. In addition, Android Marshmallow will not support the transfer apps to memory card (APP2SD) feature and therefore users need to migrate apps from the memory card to internal storage before upgrading.

In addition, some applications will not be preinstalled, and applications and functions such as Google Calendar, Google Messenger and Dr. Booster, on the other hand, will be pre-installed.
