ASUS has announced in India a new line of smartphones – ZenFone 2 Laser, represented by three models, differing in different display diagonal – 5 and 5.5 inches with HD resolution, as well as 6 inches with Full HD resolution. All of these models stand out for their high-speed laser autofocus system for the 13MP main camera with a 0.3 second response time even in low light conditions.
The presented models, in technical terms, are almost identical, differing, in addition to the size, weight and diagonal of the display, in that the 6-inch model will be equipped with a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 and 3 GB of RAM, while in the 5-inch – Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 and 2 GB of RAM. The 5.5-inch model will feature both Snapdragon 410 and Snapdragon 615 variants.
The younger 5.5-inch model (2 GB RAM, Snapdragon 410) will cost INR 9,999 (~ $ 157), while the older one (3 GB RAM, Snapdragon 615) will cost INR 13,999 (~ $ 219) , and for the 6-inch version, the manufacturer asks for 17,999 Indian rupees ($ 282).
