The website of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award has revealed information about the new, not yet officially announced, ASUS ZenFone 3 smartphones, including the flagship series Zenfone 3 Deluxe, whose body is made entirely of metal.
The 'regular' ZenFone 3 series, as noted on the award website, stands out for the presence of 2.5D curved glass on both the front and back sides. At the same time, under the glass itself there is a thin layer of film with a metallic glossy texture. From the functionality of the new model, there is a new USB Type-C connector with support for fast charging, a fingerprint scanner, a laser autofocus system, a backlit front camera and a smart case as an optional accessory.
According to the data from the GFXBench benchmark website, the ASUS ZenFone 3 line will be presented in several versions – with different diagonal (5.5 and 6 inches) and resolution (HD and Full HD), as well as different processors including Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 and Snapdragon 650. There will be 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, and the camera resolution will be 13 MP for the main and 5 MP for the front.
