The Chinese company Huawei reported that the number of users who have updated the operating system on their smartphones to EMUI 9 has exceeded 80 million worldwide and continues to grow. The company estimates that by the end of June this number will reach 100 million. Huawei also continues to expand the list of devices to upgrade.
EMUI 9 is available for smartphones Huawei Mate 9 released in 2016 and later and P10 Mate 10 released in 2017, as well as Huawei P20, Mate RS and nova 3. released in 2018. This will be the second major update for the Mate 9 and P10 smartphones.
According to Huawei, the number of EMUI 9 configuration items decreased by 10%. EMUI 9 delivers a smoother mobile experience with an intuitive user interface, smooth full-screen gesture navigation and GPU Turbo graphics acceleration technology.
