The Chinese company HUAWEI announced that starting this week, a new version of EMUI 9.1 for smartphones HUAWEI Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Porsche Design Mate 20 RS will become available to Russian users.
EMUI 9.1 offers a new and improved file system, EROFS, which provides improved file compression and 20% faster random reads. EMUI 9.1 also includes an update to GPU Turbo 3.0 with support for 25 games. It improves performance while lowering power consumption – thus, the user gets more stability while playing games and high frame rates. With the update, the Mate 20 Pro comes with a 'moon mode', which allows you to take better pictures of the moon using the superzoom Leica triple cameras. The new 'incoming call video show' feature will replace the traditional ringtone and interface. Users will be able to put videos on incoming calls from different contacts.
The EMUI 9.1 update is already available for download on HUAWEI Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro smartphones, as well as Porsche Design Mate 20 RS, and will soon be available for other models.
EMUI 9.1 offers updated themes and icons, improved performance and other new technologies.
