Google introduced Android for the Internet of Things

Google has announced a Developer Preview of a new version of the operating system Android Things, designed to run on smart devices, united by the concept of the Internet of Things.


This platform is, in fact, a development of the Project Brillo project from Google, designed to manage the Internet of Things, where user experience was taken into account and a number of tools were added, including Android Studio, Android Software Development Kit ( SDK), Google Play services, and Google Cloud platform.


In addition, the Google team updated the Weave platform, making it easier to connect all types of devices from the Internet of Things to the cloud and interact with various services such as Google Assistant.
