Google introduced Android Wear 2.0

Google has unveiled its new version of the operating system Android Wear 2.0, designed for use in smartwatches. As noted by the developers, in the new version they made the dials even more informative, found ways to improve the efficiency of sports, offered new possibilities for working with applications and developed more options to stay connected. Moreover, the new operating system will communicate with users with a voice assistant – Google Assistant.

In the new version of the OS, the user can customize the dial of his smart watch Android Wear according to his personal preferences, display relevant data on the main screen and add the most necessary functions of his favorite applications.

The Google Fit app, preinstalled on most Android Wear watches, now lets you track pace, distance, calories burned and heart rate while walking, running or cycling. In addition to push-ups, squats, and curls, you can also measure the number of repetitions of barbell or dumbbell lifts. During sports, if necessary, you can stay in touch, receive calls and messages, listen to music from Google Play and continue using your favorite applications right on the watch screen.

When you receive a message, you can enlarge the notification field and select the response method with one touch: dictate, type, write it by hand or draw emoji. And the 'Quick Reply' function will promptly and intelligently suggest different answer options based on the incoming message.
