Google has published its monthly report on the relative number Android of devices, depending on the version of the operating system they are using, in which, like a month ago, the trend of an increase in the share of devices with version Android 6.0 Marshmallow continues and a drop in the share of devices with other versions Android.
Note that the data obtained was collected during the last week – until September 5, based on the results of calls Android of devices to the Play Market online store, where the trend of recent months is preserved – the share for Android 5.0 Lollipop devices with a slight increase in the share Android 5.1 Lollipop devices (less than the fall of the younger version), as well as growth Android 6.х Marshmallow devices, whose share at the date of the report was 18.7% .
Recall that the collection of data for this report is carried out according to the method, where devices with versions of operating systems earlier than Android 2.2, which do not support the new version of the Google Play Store, which allows measuring the number of devices actively connecting to the application store, are removed. In addition, operating system versions with a percentage of less than 0.1% are automatically excluded from the report.
