HMD Global will release Android smartphones under the Nokia brand

Finnish company HMD Global Oy has announced that it will become the new home for Nokia-branded mobile devices from December this year, and the first Nokia smartphones running the operating system Android will see the light in the first half of next year.


As a reminder, a strategic licensing agreement was signed between HMD and Nokia, according to which HMD will use the Nokia brand in its products over the next 10 years in the markets of America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, India and China.

And the Chinese company FIH Mobile (a subsidiary of Foxconn) will produce Nokia smartphones for HMD, which also produces the company's mobile devices Apple.
