The Chinese company Huawei said its HONOR brand had strong sales during Black Friday, the following weekend and Cyber Monday in Europe, the Middle East and the United States. HONOR smartphones, according to the company, topped the list of bestsellers Amazon in France, Germany, Italy and the UK. This year saw a significant increase in sales in Europe – following Black Friday, the following weekend and Cyber Monday, it was 250% compared to 2017. Sales in Spain skyrocketed 300%.
The HONOR 9 Lite became the smartphone that ranked first in online sales in the € 150-200 category. HONOR 10 peaked in the Amazon Top 10 in Black Friday sales and the following weekend.
The HONOR View 10 sold out completely on Amazon and Newegg on Black Friday and saw strong sales growth over the weekend in the Middle East. In Finland, HONOR ranked # 1 in the phone category across all sales channels on Black Friday and over the weekend. In the Czech Republic, the growth of HONOR's market share reached 200% compared to 2017. In Poland, HONOR Play recorded a 500% increase in sales on Black Friday and over the weekend, which resulted in a full sale on Euronet, X-kom and Media Expert within two hours, showing a combined sales increase of 150%.
The new HONOR 8X has become the leader among new products on Amazon in Germany and has become the hottest online smartphone in France since its global launch in October. In Russia, HONOR 8X became the best-selling smartphone on the Internet; it surpassed its predecessor, the HONOR 7X, in sales volume, and posted growth of 500%.
