The HONOR brand announced the launch of three new technologies at its annual international press conference at H Queen's in Hong Kong. Following GPU Turbo, HONOR introduced several innovations for smartphones at once – a 48MP main camera, HONOR All-View screen and Magic Turbo technology.
The camera for smartphones Honor with a resolution of 48 MP and a Sony IMX586 sensor, according to Huawei, will pleasantly surprise fans of mobile photography. When shooting, even when subjects come close, high-quality images with good detail are obtained. Powered by the Kirin 980 processor-based AI, this technology will enable smartphone users to take professional-quality photos.
HONOR also introduced the HONORAll-View screen. The unusual location of the front camera, which is located within the screen, increases the display area by almost 100%. This is made possible by a special 18-layer camera coating. The innovative HONOR All-View solution shows the development of Full View screens: from the 18: 9 edge-to-edge screen of the 1.0 era through the 2.0 notch screen to the new 3.0 era for smartphone screens.
HONOR takes smartphones with Magic Turbo technology to the next level: By leveraging artificial intelligence and massive data processing, Magic Turbo automatically analyzes user behavior and network conditions to seamlessly switch between Wi-Fi and 4G networks and improves download speeds using both networks at the same time.
