The company HTC has announced that it is rolling out a new version of its BlinkFeed app that will display ads to select markets and a limited number of markets.
During the testing phase, this change will affect smartphone users HTC living in the US, UK, Germany, China and Taiwan. These users will be able to see in some BlinkFeed news relevant offers with app ads from AdNetworks and its partners such as Yahoo, Twitter and Appia, as well as ads from HTC with its new devices and accessories.
The company emphasizes that this project is a pilot, and at this stage, data collection and evaluation of the effectiveness of such an implementation are still underway, and it is possible that as a result, such an option with displaying ads in BlinkFeed will not be implemented as the main function.
