Jeff Gordon, senior manager of the company HTC for global online communications, said on his personal twitter that his company is currently using a 'cold' version of the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (v2.1) for its flagship HTC One M9.
Recall that previous versions of the Snapdragon 810 chip, including revision v2.0, had significant problems related to overheating and performance drops, which were partially resolved in the so-called 'cold' revision (v2.1) of the chipset.
However, as Jeff Gordon notes, almost all mobile equipment manufacturers who announced their products with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 also switched to a 'cold' revision of this processor.
