The Chinese company Huawei today presented its new line of smartphones Huawei P9, which are equipped with two 12 MP cameras with optics from the famous German manufacturer – Leica.
The lineup will be represented by three models – the main Huawei P9, the improved Huawei P9 Plus and cut in functionality (less memory and weaker processor) and materials Huawei P9 Lite with the missing dual camera module, but with a fingerprint scanner present.
For the P9 and P9 Plus models equipped with two cameras, the manufacturer notes that they have a hybrid autofocus system, which includes laser autofocus, contrast autofocus and depth-of-field focusing with a separate processor. In addition, the cameras have a professional control mode with fully manual control of all functions, including shooting in RAW format. In addition to everything, the P9 Plus is equipped with an 8 MP front camera with autofocus.
Models P9 and P9 Plus are equipped with the latest proprietary Hisilicon Kirin 955 octa-core processor, support for 4G / LTE networks and dual SIM cards with simultaneous network access and a 3000 mAh battery.
The older model Huawei P9 Plus already has a 5.5-inch display (the P9 has a 5.2-inch) resolution Full HD and support for pressure recognition, a thinner body, longer time work, front stereo speakers, built-in remote control and a wide range of available accessories.
The 'regular' P9 with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory will cost 599 Euros, while the price tag for the version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory is set at 649 Euros. The older model Huawei P9 Plus will cost 749 Euros.
