The Chinese company Huawei announced the addition of two new models to its premium line of P-series smartphones – Huawei P8 and Huawei P8max, equipped with 5.2-inch and 6, respectively. 8-inch displays.

Huawei The P8 features a thin (6.4mm) all-metal aluminum casing, which will be available in four elegant colors – Gold, Silver, Black and Gray. Among the functional features of this model, the manufacturer notes that it has a high-quality 13 MP camera with a four-color matrix (RGBW), an optical image stabilization system and a dedicated image processor, which provides advanced opportunities for creating images with various special effects.

Huawei P8 has two slots for SIM cards (one of them is universal – supports microSD memory cards), each of which supports connection to a 4G LTE network, is equipped with its own eight-core Kirin 930 processor (4×2 GHz + 2×1.5 GHz A53) with support for 64-bit instructions, a battery with a capacity of 2680 mAh, advanced noise reduction and volume increase in noisy environments, as well as a separate audio chip (DSP Hi6402 + Smart PA) and a voice search function for a smartphone (!) ', for example, on the desktop under a pile of papers.

In addition to everything, the presented device works in conjunction with the existing accessories of the company (for example, with the TalkBand B2 smart watch) and with new ones specially created for the P8, including a back cover with a 4.3-inch E-Link display, which consumes significantly less energy and serves to display basic information (as in YotaPhone smartphones).

As mentioned above, the model Huawei P8max is equipped with a large 6.8-inch IPS-NEO display with a resolution Full HD, manufactured by the Japanese company JDI with a high contrast ratio (1500: 1) and having function of automatic adjustment of brightness and contrast. At the same time, the user interface takes into account the large size of the display, adding, among other things, the function of splitting the screen into two windows, in each of which a separate application can run.

As the manufacturer notes, the Li-Pol battery Huawei P8max with a capacity of 4360 mAh allows it to work for 10 hours in streaming video mode, 15 hours in web surfing mode, and also for 60 hours in listening to music and up to 15 hours of offline video viewing. In normal use, the company assures that this new product will work for more than two days, and in a loaded mode – 1.5 days. Also, Huawei claims the P8max will not get as hot as its competitors.

The Huawei P8max will also have its own line of additional accessories, including a stand case with an external matrix information display (like HTC Dot View).

The price for the standard version Huwei P8max (3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal) will be 549 Euro, and for the Premium version (3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal) – 649 Euro.
