HUAWEI has announced that its HUAWEI Mate X smartphone has received the world's first 5G CE certification, issued by the audit concern TÜV Rheinland. This, according to Huawei, means that the smartphone has successfully passed all tests and became the first smartphone in the world 5G to be approved by the European Union Notification Authority.
The company notes that in order for the HUAWEI Mate X to pass all CE certification tests at all stages of development, construction, design and final inspection, all necessary rules and restrictions were observed. As a result, the smartphone's specifications are fully compliant with strict CE certification standards – for radio frequency range, electromagnetic compatibility, safety, specific absorption rate of electromagnetic energy (SAR) and other aspects.
