Jason Statham, star of action films including The Carrier and The Expendables, is appearing in a new commercial LG for the innovative modular smartphone LG G5. The filming was directed by the talented director Fredrik Bond, who led a large number of global campaigns for international brands.
The campaign's focus is on the G5's versatile modular design LG, providing opportunities for 'play' and smartphone enjoyment. Companion gadgets LG transform the G5 into a convenient digital camera or hi-fi audio player, for example, making it an excellent choice for those who prefer modern technology and innovations that improve their lives.
Filming took place in Los Angeles with the participation of the creative agency Energy BBDO. The plot features Jason Statham demonstrating the fun and engaging uses of the LG G5. The actor played the roles of all the characters in a funny mise-en-scène embodying the slogan LG G5: 'Life is beautiful when there is room for play in it.'
The ad will air on TV in a number of countries, including North and South America, Europe and East Asia, from April 1.
