A distinctive feature of PHAB2 Pro, which supports the Project Tango platform, is the ability to perceive the shape of the surrounding space and offer users a variety of formats for using virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies. PHAB2 Pro with support for the Project Tango platform is able to draw up a room diagram and, through an application (for example, GuidiGO), organize a museum tour using augmented reality. Using special PHAB2 Pro applications, you can take the necessary measurements in the room and visualize the conceived interior in order to assess how certain household appliances, furniture, decor elements and materials will fit into the space and interact with each other. As the Project Tango platform develops further, PHAB2 Pro owners will be able to use more and more new features of this technology.

Three core technologies make Project Tango work:

  • movement tracking – allows PHAB2 Pro to determine its position in 3D space,
  • environmental research – transfers data about its current position to the phablet,
  • depth perception – allows the phablet to analyze the world around it by detecting various surfaces and objects.

As the manufacturer notes, for the first time, a phablet with the help of sensors and sensors producing more than 250 thousand measurements per second is able to get an idea of the surrounding objects and the environment, as well as visualize them.

In addition, this phablet is equipped with a Dolby system Audi o Capture 5.1 with support for Dolby Atmos technology, three microphones, a surround sound system with noise reduction technology, as well as a 16 MP camera with support for video recording in 4K resolution, an eight-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 652, 4GB RAM and Fluence Pro technology plus 6.4-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with Assertive Display.
