South Korean company LG Electronics has announced a new smartphone product line – 'X-Series' and two models in it – X cam and X screen, which it positions as competitively priced mid-range phones with premium smartphone functionality.
The LG X cam has two main cameras on the back (13MP and 8MP) and is one of the most advanced mass-market smartphones in the industry. This unit has a curved (3D Bending Glass) protective glass for the display with small frames and a weight (only 118 g), allowing its owner to hold it comfortably.
The X screen features a second optional front display with an 'Always-on' function, similar to what we saw in the premium model LG V10. This 1.76-inch screen sits just above the main 4.93-inch HD display and allows users instant access to the main functions of this mobile device – frequently used applications, the ability to answer calls without interrupting the current application or game, or it's easy to manage music. The second screen also allows you to check the current date and time, battery status and other system notifications without having to turn on your phone.
