South Korean company LG Electronics has announced the addition of two new models to its new mid-range LG K Series line of smartphones, the K8 and K5, which will go on sale this week in key markets. The manufacturer claims that LG K8 will be available to consumers in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, CIS and Latin America, while LG K5 will be released in Europe, CIS and Latin America ( in Mexico this model will be released under the index LG Q6).

Like the entire line LG K Series, the new items are positioned by the company as inexpensive devices with a functional user interface and an advanced camera, as well as a luxurious appearance.
LG claims the LG K8 is the most notable model due to its sleek premium design, rounded corners and 2.5D protective glass for the 5-inch HD display. In addition, the LG K8 has a 5MP front camera with flash and gesture self-portraits.

LG K5, according to the manufacturer, stands out primarily for the smoothed design of the metal body, available in several colors, the best-in-class 5-inch display, and the 2MP front camera with hand-gesture shooting.
