LG starts updating the OS of its flagship G4 to version Android 6.0 Marshmallow

South Korean company LG Electronics announced that Polish owners of its flagship smartphone LG G4 will start receiving an operating system update to version Android 6.0 Marshmallow from next week, and then already other owners living in Europe, Asia and America.

Update information for other models LG to version Android M will be announced later.

As a reminder, the latest version Android 6.0 Marshmallow offers the following innovations:

  • Application access rights can now not only be viewed, but also edited during operation at any time
  • Silent, Vibrate and Do Not Disturb can block all sounds or only alarms and notifications
  • Power saving mode (Doze Mode) may terminate some background applications when the phone is not in use
