Google announced that in the next few weeks in Russia, an update for Google Maps for Android will be launched, which will allow you to add deviations from the route directly in navigation mode. This will allow, for example, to quickly change the route on Google Maps to the nearest gas station: by filling the tank and re-entering the office address, and then following the directions.
Well, if the user forgot to buy milk or got hungry on the road, he can instantly create an additional route to the nearest grocery store or restaurant without leaving the navigation mode. To do this, simply click on the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of the application and select an option from the list. If none of them work, you can find the place you want using a search or voice command.
