The Finnish company HMD Global, which produces mobile devices under the Nokia brand, announced the expansion of the line of smartphones to Android and introduced three new products: Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1, which run a 'clean' operating system Android and provide access to the latest Google services, including Google Assistant. Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 are Android One smartphones, Nokia 2.1 is a device with Android Oreo (Go edition).

The manufacturer notes that smartphones from the new line have screens with a larger diagonal with the same compact body size. The performance of the updated processor has increased by up to 50%. At the same time, we have maintained a balance between power and power consumption – and this is in the class of devices where users often have to make a compromise between these two factors.

The screen of the new Nokia 5.1 smartphone is 0.33 inches larger than the screen of the previous model, while the body of the device has become 2 millimeters narrower. The rounded corners of the screen are successfully combined with the smooth curves of the body shape, providing a compact smartphone. The 5.5-inch screen Full HD now has a higher resolution with an aspect ratio of 18: 9, which allows you to comfortably watch videos, play, and share new memes with friends.

The new Nokia 5.1 comes in three classic colors: copper, blue and black. The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Sales of new items will begin in July 2018, with an estimated retail price of 189 euros.

The updated Nokia 3.1 smartphone is a combination of exquisite design, quality materials and optimal performance for everyday use. The rounded screen is housed in a slim aluminum casing that uses double diamond polishing technology. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch diagonal 2.5D rounded corning Gorilla Glass screen with an 18: 9 aspect ratio.

Nokia 3.1 has an eight-core MediaTek 6750 chipset instead of the quad-core used in the previous version. The chipset update provided a performance increase of at least 50%. The main improved 13MP autofocus camera is designed to help preserve the memories of the best moments. The company also notes that a full set of sensors, previously only available in premium models, allows you to use popular AR apps such as Pokémon Go, take panoramic photos, and also pay for purchases securely using Google Pay.

The new Nokia 3.1 will be presented in three color variations: indigo, black and white. The model comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Sales of new items will begin in June 2018, its estimated retail price will be 139 euros.
